Vintage Hermes Shoulder Birkin 42 JPG Fauve Barenia and Dark Blue Denim Palladium Hardware

This vintage Special Edition Shoulder Birkin, designed by Jean-Paul Gaultier, is in Fauve Barenia leather dark blue denim fabric with palladium hardware and has tonal stitching, two straps with a HAC front toggle closure, clochette with lock and two keys and double rolled handles.

The interior is lined with Fauve Barenia and chevre leather with no interior pockets.

Condition: Vintage; Excellent - This bag is somewhat relaxed in the back, but still retains some shape structure. There is partial plastic on the hardware. The hardware has recently been serviced and replaced by Hermes. The exposed turnlock, pontets, and lock have light scratching while the feet have moderate scratching present. The exterior leather has faint markings, press marks, and darkening to the leather throughout, with the most noticeable wear being present on the exterior base. The bottom corners and edge piping have scuffing and darkening present. The exterior fabric has some small snags to the fiber but is otherwise clean. The interior Barenia leather has markings, press marks, and darkening to the leather while the Chevre leather has press marks to the base.
